A large percentage of our patients at Kildonan Orthodontics live north of Winnipeg. In an effort to make orthodontic services more convenient and accessible for our patients, we are performing adjustment appointments, retainer checks and recall exams in Selkirk. These adjustment appointments comprise the majority of orthodontic care; hence, most treatment can be performed in Selkirk. Consultations, diagnostic records and delivery/removal of braces will be performed at Kildonan Orthodontics in Winnipeg. Emergency appointments requiring significant treatment (i.e. more than 3 broken braces) will also need to be re-scheduled for treatment at the Winnipeg office.

Dr. Nickolaychuk and his staff will be traveling together to Selkirk one Thursday of every month. In the event that this does not work with the patient's schedule then they are welcome to schedule an appointment at Kildonan Orthodontics in Winnipeg on a day that is more convenient.

With the advanced technology of self-ligating braces, patients require adjustment appointments at 8-10 week intervals. Hence, one group of patients can be seen one month and an entirely different group the next month. This allows Dr. Nickolaychuk to accommodate a large number of patients very efficiently and to maintain high quality treatment.

To date, the response from patients has been very positive. Many parents and adult patients have been pleased with the convenience. We are now accepting new patients for Selkirk Orthodontics.
